Bajaj Finance has partnered with Bharti Airtel to launch a digital platform aimed at offering a wide range of financial services to Airtel’s vast customer base. The collaboration will provide Airtel’s 370 million subscribers with access to Bajaj Finance’s diverse suite of 27 financial products. Leveraging Airtel’s substantial distribution network, which includes over 1.2 million stores and a robust field agent force, this partnership is set to revolutionize access to financial services across India.
The platform will initially be available through Airtel’s popular Airtel Thanks App, ensuring a seamless and secure customer experience. In addition, it will gradually expand to Airtel’s nationwide store network. This digital-first approach will offer customers easy access to Bajaj Finance’s products, ranging from personal loans and gold loans to business loans and EMI cards.
Bajaj Finance aims to significantly enhance financial inclusion by utilizing Airtel’s customer data and transaction history. This will enable more personalized and relevant financial solutions, thereby expanding the reach of Bajaj Finance’s offerings. As part of the initial rollout, two Bajaj Finance products have already been piloted on the Airtel Thanks App, with plans to expand to four products by March. By the end of the year, up to 10 Bajaj Finance products are expected to be available on the platform.
